Memphis police have arrested a woman who they say took part in an assault on a 15-year-old girl Sunday.
According to a police report, Bianka Simpkins accompanied her 14-year-old daughter and two other females to a home near Winchester and Hickory Hills Road where they punched, kicked and struck the victim after knocking on her door.
The report says the group dragged the girl out of her house by her hair and recorded the incident on a cellphone.
The victim’s mother called police that night and the pair later positively identified Simpkins as one of the women involved. Police picked Simpkins up and say she admitted to the assault.
Simpkins was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, attempted kidnapping and vandalism. Jail records show she’s due in court Thursday.
