LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville man has been arrested and is facing charges after police say he tried to strangle a pregnant woman to death.
Quincy Blackmon, 26, is charged with attempted murder, assault and unlawful imprisonment.
According to arrest records, Blackmon would not let the woman leave, took off her pants and began choking her.

Police say the victim is pregnant with Blackmon’s child.
In the report, the victim revealed to police that Blackmon choked her at least 10 times over a two-hour period causing her to lose consciousness multiple times.
Blackmon is currently being held at Metro Corrections on a $25,000 bond.
He is expected to be arraigned March 5.
